How I got started…

From playing soccer competitively to intense HIIT classes, and hiking the Rockies to traveling the world, I’ve always pushed my physical boundaries. However, the pain of being a weekend warrior finally caught up with me. I was in search of a movement therapy that would help me do everything that I love— only better.

I am so grateful to have discovered the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® in 2016 in Vancouver, BC. Taking weekly GYROTONIC® lessons and GYROKINESIS® group classes transformed my body and mental health. The natural movements released tension caused from stress and previous injuries. This empowered me to delve deeper into just how connected the body is with the mind. My belief that a healthy body equals a healthy mind deepened and brought new meaning to the concept of inner strength.

Over the COVID-19 pandemic, while the world struggled to reinvent a new normal, the mindfulness and rhythmic movement of my personal Gyrokinesis practice was truly a lifesaver. I made the thrilling decision to make a career change and become a Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis Trainer. In Spring 2022, I began teaching in Calgary, Alberta, and instantly loved having a direct part in bringing calmness and strength to my clients. While my teaching experience began over 10 years ago, being able to share the benefits of movement therapy with others has been immensely rewarding and life changing. Teaching the Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis Methods in studio is a culmination of my many loves: educating others, fitness, and holistic health.

In late 2022, I relocated to the bustling city of Toronto, Ontario. You can find me teaching alongside Master Trainer Jane Gotch and Trainer Helgi Maki at their studio in the Ossington neighbourhood. I am very grateful to be a part of a community where I can thrive in my journey for better health for my clients and myself.

I would love to hear from you regarding any questions or inquiries. Please visit my Contact page. Hope to see you in the studio!
